Having local piano lessons allows students to have an uninterupted series of lessons, a factor that is closely connected with a student’s enjoyment of lessons, achievement, motivation and the development of good practice habits.
Parents, especially working parents, also appreciate the convenience of local piano lessons that can be arranged to mesh with their busy schedules. During the school year, local piano lessons may be scheduled on weekdays as early as 2:00 p.m. and as late as 7:30 p.m. On Sundays, lessons may be scheduled from noon to 6 p.m.
Another advantage of local piano lessons is that parents may be able to – and are encouraged to – sit in during the lessons. This helps the student understand that learning to play the piano is something that their parents value.
